Whether you are looking to take your vacation photos to the next level, start a career in photography or just take stunning photos of your family beginner digital photography is for you! This course is designed for photographers with cameras capable of full manual mode (dslr or mirrorless), and will give you an understanding of how exposure works. You will learn about shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, and how each will affect your photos.

How can you tell if your camera allows you full manual control? Manual mode is one of the main settings on your camera, and it lets you manually control shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.

This hands on course will cover Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO and how all three work together to bring you the right exposure for your shots. Users will also learn how to properly white balance the scene, get an overview of lenses and their focal lengths, lighting styles and their uses and which file format will be right for you to shoot in.

At the end of this course you should be able to use your camera with full manual control and have the foundation to advance and grow your photography.

Class Requirements:

  • A DSLR or Mirrorless camera that allows complete control over shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
  •  A charged battery for each class.
