From Above
This series takes a thought provoking look at my journey through anxiety and depression in the midst of a pandemic, as seen from above. We often believe that to see emotion we must be up close and personal in our work and this series aims to break that thought barrier and give the viewer a new perspective and angle of view. The use of a single, often nude subject, shot at a distance is representative of the isolation and desperation brought on by depression. Often faceless or covered, the subject can be seen as many of us who suffer in our silent pleading way. Shot entirely with the use of a drone, this body of work is my most personal to date as I walk you through loss, grief, pain and self discovery on my journey to joy.
