I’m lucky enough to have been able to take some time off this fourth of July season and enjoy relaxing, walking and observing how one historic city celebrates its American pride. Just days before our country celebrates its independence this quiet little tourist town and all its inhabitants decorate their doors, yards and store fronts with the colors that represent our nation. With businesses named things like New World Tavern and Common Sense, Plymouth pays tribute to being America’s Hometown. Whether you live locally or are traveling here from a far, Plymouth offers a little something for everyone. From the famed Plymouth Rock to various harbor cruises Plymouth is the perfect get away to lose yourself among the sleepy historic streets and gorgeous New England architecture.
