This winter has shown New England unprecedented snow totals, freezing temperatures and frustrating weekends. But in all of this there still lies a beauty, a calmness that the snow brings to a city, that is, when we’re not all out shoveling. As difficult as this winter has proven I managed to steal a few minutes away from the pains and shovels and walk the serene streets of my neighborhood. What I saw was shadows and light that made a haunting scene amidst the winter white.
